Presentation guidelines

The official language of the symposium is English. It is therefore expected that authors are able to present their research more or less fluently in the English language. The presentations are expected to follow standard scientific presentation practices. Please, find below some specific guidelines.

Oral presentation guidelines

Each oral session is comprised of four presentations. The total time assigned to each oral presentation is 15 min, with 10-12 min for presentation and 3-5 min for discussions.

Poster & flash presentation guidelines

Those selected for the poster session also need to present a 1 min flash talk.

The poster must have an A0 size with portrait orientation, using the following dimensions: Width of 841 mm (84.1 cm) and length of 1189 mm (118.9 cm).

The flash talk must have exactly two power point slides. First slide containing only title and your affiliation information, second slide containing your research question (Why), brief methods (How), and study area (Where). Be advised that this is a flash presentation and should serve as an appetizer for your poster grand finale.
